This is a great idea. It never even occurred to me that there was a Banned Books Week.

I used to be a Library Commissioner in my city, so I'm familar with Banned Books Week.
The problem is not that people complain about certain books. People are always going to complain, it's a free country. The problem lies with weak-spined administrators who cave in at the first sign of controversy. Society demands leaders who can stand up for what's right in the face of controversy, but far too many principals and school administrators bend at the first sign of conflict, and they do our children a tremendous disservice.
Anyhow... great blog :)
