UPDATE-OASIS YOUTH SHELTER BOOK DRIVE

I know you guys have probably been wondering what is going on with the book drive. I haven't written about it lately because I've been working out some new incentives as well as trying to develop a new contact at the shelter. Turns out my mom is now my official contact as she has begun working full time at the shelter.

While the changing of the guard was taking place we ran into another snag. It seems that the kids were really wanting for things to read. There was no one to oversee the books being returned, so they weren't. So, we have distributed over 400 books.

Now, its time to stock the shelves.

I'm putting my money where your generosity is. For the next 90 days I will match your donation from the wish list of up to 100 dollars. Here's how it will work.

  • Go to the wish list and order some books.

  • Forward me a copy of your shipping confirmation from Amazon.

  • I'll acknowledge you here and send my matching donation.

  • You can bask in the self-satisfaction of knowing you've put books in the hands of at risk kids.

Stay tuned as I have more incentives on the way.
